Engineering Equipment Operation Maintenance Welding Qualifications must be met by 04/23/2020 Minimum Qualification Requirement - To qualify, there is no specific length of training or experience required, however your resume must demonstrate enough experience to show your ability to perform the duties of a Engineering Equipment Operator without more than normal supervision. Examples of such experience include:
Operation of one or more types of heavy engineering equipment. Operation of mobile cranes ranging from 7.5 ton to 21 ton. Operation of twin-engine diesel work boat. Current and former Federal employees must have a minimum of 52 weeks at the next lower grade level to be eligible under Merit Promotion procedures. Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid work on the same basis as for paid experience. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
