In addition to meeting the Basic Education Requirements you must meet all aspects of specialized experience which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above.To qualify for the GS-09:
Have one year of professional, directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service applying project management principles, such as resource allocation, work flow, budget and schedule control to engineering projects; assisting in overseeing major parts of projects of various facility systems and infrastructures; assisting in development of facility electrical system requirements.ORCompleted all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field.ORCompleted 2 full academic years of graduate education in an appropriate field.ORHave an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed above.To qualify for the GS-11:
Have one year of professional, directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in the Federal service applying project management principles, such as resource allocation, work flow, budget and schedule control to engineering projects; overseeing major parts of projects of various facility systems and infrastructures; monitoring contracted work; assisting in development of facility electrical system requirements.ORCompleted all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field.ORCompleted 3 full academic years of graduate education in an appropriate field.ORHave an equivalent combination of experience and graduate education as discussed above.To qualify for the GS-12:
Have one year of professional, directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 in the Federal service applying project management principles, such as resource allocation, work flow, budget and schedule control to engineering projects; overseeing projects of various facility systems and infrastructures; monitoring contracted work; ensuring facility systems are configured and operated to defined objectives.To qualify for the GS-13:
Have one year of professional, directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service applying project management principles, such as resource allocation, work flow, budget and schedule control to engineering projects; overseeing projects of various facility systems and infrastructures; providing technical review of contracted work; providing technical direction and establishing facility electrical system requirements; ensuring all facility systems are integrated.
