Overview:
This is a NASA Test and Evaluation Contract (NTEC) position and may be assigned to Jacobs Technology or a teammate company.
Responsibilities:
Perform day to day activities to ensure the WSTF Training Database (WTDB) reflects the WSTF training program. Coordinates with the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) for maintenance of the WTDB. Coordinate with the Instructors and Training POC in each organization for class schedules, if applicable. Schedules attendees for required training. Provides technical assistance on WTBD issues and general assistance for development and delivery of training. Enters training rosters into the WTBD upon receipt from the instructors. Responsible for record retention per WSP 05-0011. Track and enter WSTF Form 543, WSTF Form 544, WSTF Form 551, and WSTF Form 573. Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly training reports as defined in the contractor's integrated training plan. Perform periodic audits of training presentations. Makes recommendations to instructors, training POC's, and category officials to improve efficiencies based on statistical data and trends.
Qualifications:
BA or BS degree in the appropriate discipline plus three (3) to (5) years of progressive and relevant experience. Additional relevant education may be substituted for progressive experience. Experience in SATERN is highly desirable. Must have knowledge of common Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Power Point).
Physical Requirements:
Position is located on a hazardous testing facility; must be able to quickly evacuate buildings in the event of an emergency. Physical requirements are: sitting, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and the ability to access remote structures.
Work Environment:
Position requires individual to travel to different areas on site. Walking on uneven terrain including paved areas, gravel/rocks, and dirt/sand is required to access various locations on the facility. Uneven surfaces exist in office and shop areas and must be traversed. Must be able to function as a member of a team in a fast paced environment. All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with NASA and Company safety standards.
Equipment and Machines:
Use of calculator, printer, fax, scanner, telephone, filing cabinets, and other standard office equipment is required.
Attendance:
Attendance and punctuality are essential in this highly collaborative environment. Overtime work may be required in support of test project schedules or other priority assignments as determined by management. Normal working hours are nine (9) hours per day with some flexibility based on pre-approval. Condensed work schedule, allowing alternate Fridays off, is typically in use for each two week pay cycle (9-80 schedule).

Essential Functions:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Must be able to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements. Dress must be appropriate for the position and not pose a safety risk or hazard to the employee or others in accordance with NASA and Company policies. Must be able to pass a physical examination (including drug testing) as determined by the NASA White Sands Test Facility and the Company for the job classification. If applicable to the specific job assignment, must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Must be a U.S Citizen. Must pass a Federal background investigation. Must maintain site access to NASA facilities and computer systems.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
