POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
TITLE: FAMILY SERVICE COORDINATOR
PAY GRADE $14.00 PER HOUR
HOURS: FULL TIME
LOCATION: LAS CRUCES, NEW MEXICO
OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: Coordinate, and provide services to families under
Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Coordinate all services provided to families, under the IFSP. Arrange opportunities for parent education. Maintain childrens working files. Organize transition activities with Public Schools, and other agencies as required, assist in collecting, and monitoring data for billing purposes. Provide appropriate client data, and complete daily activity logs.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND
Experience: Bachelors Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, nursing, special education, early childhood education, or closely related field, and one year of experience working in a professional setting providing social services, referrals, and/or case management. Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred.
