A clinically competent, registered, professional nurse who delivers care to the patient needing cardiac rehabilitation through the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. Will possess knowledge of accepted nursing standards and practice and knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation. Will provide patient care in accordance with policies and procedures. Expected to provide a positive image and to be able to communicate effectively with patients, peers, physicians and visitors. This position works in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department and treats patients in the acute and outpatient settings.
Education:
Completion of course of study resulting in acquisition of RN licensure.
Experience:
Required: One year nursing experience in cardiac rehabilitation and/or three years in telemetry.
Licenses/Certificates:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse
BLS certification
ACLS certification
