Patient Care Tech PCT Emergency Department
Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities.
Minimum Education:
High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

None required.
Certification/Licensure:
New Hires:
Certified as a nursing assistant; or documented completion of Medical / Surgical semester from an accredited nursing program with a B average or better; or licensed as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT); or military medic (91B20). Current CPR certification required. To maintain employment current CPR is required.
Patient Care Tech will be required to take and pass Memorial Medical Center s Patient Care Tech course within 90 days of hire.
Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
