- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Escort guests to their tables and present menus - Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists - Answer phone calls and take reservations - Maintain a clean and organized host/host station - Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations - Assist with seating arrangements for large parties or special events - Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant promotions - Clean tables
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Strong hospitality and customer service skills - Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of hotel guest relations or guest services is a bonus If you enjoy providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, we would love to have you join our team as a Host/Host.
