07 Hourly $36,332 - $56,314 Annually This position is a Pay Band 50 Posting Details Interviews are anticipated to be conducted within two weeks of closing date.
Why does the job exist? The purpose of this position is to receive incoming calls and walk-ins from contractors, homeowners and the general public at the Las Cruces Manufactured Housing (MHD) front office.
The incumbent will provide administrative support for the statewide permitting for MHD and assist when needed for the Construction Industries Division (CID).
How does it get done? Process applications for MHD permitting received by email, fax or walk-ins.
Answer general questions on a daily basis (walk-ins and phone calls) regarding permit process, issuance/status of permits and other related questions (general licensing questions).
Who are the customers? Constituents of New Mexico to include homeowners, contractors and general public.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have customer service experience, working with databases (salesforce) and preferable if bi-lingual in Spanish.
Must flexible and a team player.
Must reside in the Las Cruces area.
Minimum Qualification High School diploma or Equivalency and one (1) year of experience in office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management and/or contract management.

Employment Requirements Must be able to pass a background check and maintain a valid driver's license.
Working Conditions Works is performed in an office setting with exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage.
Some sitting, standing, bending, lifting and reaching may be required.
Ability to complete assignments with a high level of accuracy within strict time constraints.
Frequent use of office machine and equipment.
Greeting and directing the public in person or via the telephone.
Must be able to life 25-30 lbs.
Occasional travel may be required.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications are also required.
