90 Hourly $53,165 - $85,064 Annually This position is a Pay Band 70 Posting Details This job posting will be used to conduct ongoing recruitment and will remain open until position has been filled.
Why does the job exist? This position will perform surveys and investigations of nursing homes and Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IIDs) facilities to determine their level of compliance with State and Federal regulations.
This position will also provide leadership support to the survey team.
How does it get done? Surveying long term care healthcare facilities including but not limited to:
Interviewing residents/clients and staff of healthcare facilities, evaluating the facility environment to ensure it meets safety and infection control standards, reviewing records, and ensuring resident/client rights, quality of care and quality of life meet regulation standards.
Who are the customers? Long term care healthcare providers and New Mexico residents receiving healthcare services.
Ideal Candidate The ability to think critically, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, team player and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with deadlines.
Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing, Architecture, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Rehabilitation and /or Criminal Justice and two (2) years of experience in community based healthcare services and case management.

Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
Must Possess and maintain a current Defensive driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment.
Working Conditions Office setting, attending meetings, visiting provider agencies, extensive computer and telephone usage with extended periods of sitting.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
