Mgr Emergency Dept - FT

The Manager of the Emergency Department is responsible for administering, analyzing, and appraising the care given to patients within the ED.
Promotes a high level of patient, physician, staff and customer satisfaction.
Maintains adherence to hospital policies, procedures and regulations.
Participates in an interdisciplinary and inter-facility approach to achieving the mission, philosophy and goals of CHS.
Education:
Required:
Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
Experience:
Three (3) to Five (5) years clinical nursing experience.
Must show ability for management of a nursing unit.
Demonstrates skills in communication, conflict resolution and human relations.
Exhibits a team approach.
Knowledgeable of fiscal, general healthcare issues, trends, quality management and legal aspects of nursing practice and standards.
Knowledge and understanding of the entire aging process.
Possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public.
Able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given.
Requires good interpersonal skills and good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to function effectively in fast-paced environment with multiple demands/deadlines.
Position requires some overtime and ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously.
Emotional maturity and ability to function effectively under stress.
Able to read, write, follow instructions and document care given in English.

Required:
Current licensure in professional nursing from the New Mexico State Board of Nursing or compact RN licenseRequired:
CPI Training - Due by COB on the last day of month after one (1) full month of workRequired:
BLS (Basic Life Support) required - Due by COB on the last day of the month after one (1) full month of work.
Required:
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)-Due by COB on the last day of the month after three (3) full months of work.
Required:
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)-Due by COB on the last day of the month after three (3) full months of work.
Required:
TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)- Due by COB on the last day of the month after two (2) full months of work.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
