This person needs to be passionate about helping others and supporting quality of life, and have a lot of patience and persistence.
This job involves working with an elderly individual who has complicated psychiatric needs for ten hours per week.
This person should be kind, patient, persistent, passionate about helping others, and willing to learn.
Engage with the individual in activities they enjoy (taking them to a favorite restaurant, cooking with them, reading poetry with them, going on a walk, etc) Providing ongoing social and emotional support Taking ongoing trainings in trauma and associated disorders Preferably someone who can speak one or more of the following languages:
farsi, dialects related to farsi (urdu/dari), or spanish.
