Integrates the hospital's mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.
Required Skills:
o Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.
o Current CPR certification required.
o One (1) year recent experience in acute care setting preferred.
Additional Qualifications/Skills :
o Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.
o Demonstrates appropriate use of supplies and equipment o Demonstrates clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
o Demonstrates general computer skills including:
data entry, word processing, email, and record management.
o Use of analytical and problem solving skills to collect pertinent data.
o Effective organizational and time management skills.
o Effective written and verbal communication skills.
o Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
o Ability to work closely and professionally with others.
o Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.
o Ability to utilize policies, procedures, and guidelines in caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
