This person must have a good base of maintenance knowledge pertaining to typical issues found within residential housing.
Must be proficient on a computer, dependable, organized and a fast learner (bilingual is preferred).
As the main point of contact for our tenants regarding maintenance issues, this position requires that one have good communication skills and the ability to obtain and relay thorough information to ensure maintenance issues are efficiently disseminated to the proper party.
Once on the job, the details and actions of each duty and responsibility will be learned.
General Tasks Create and disperse incoming work orders via telephone and email Contact tenants for more clarification regarding submitted work orders and other maintenance related issues Updating and disbursing inspection work orders Update work orders Enter work order resolutions Follow up on old unresolved work orders Coordinate and contact vendors as instructed Coordinate all maintenance related items with the Maintenance Superintendent as needed Track and enter maintenance tech time logs Provide make ready work orders to techs Other tasks as assigned by management Qualities/Skills Honest, trustworthy and reliable Computer/software skills (Outlook Calendar, Excel), Internet savvy, email Excellent verbal and written skills and has the ability to communicate clearly and effectively Customer service skills, friendly, professional and flexible Ability to assist in any area of need Strong organizational skills Must be able to multitask Bilingual preferred, but not required Self-motivated and takes initiative Schedule:
